"Our sons ears were very asymmetrical and the left ear became more and more prominent over time. He was 8 1/2 months old when we started the taping. He is now 12 1/2 months and we are very pleased with the results. We have removed the tape for over a week and have been pleased with the ear staying in place, however it frequently gets folded over so we plan to continue the taping until the cartilage hardens more. He tolerates the tape surprisingly well and it is just part of our routine now.

I also wanted to add that our son has extremely sensitive skin and we have not had any issues with the Ear Buddies system. We apply a small amount of Medihoney with a q-tip where the ear meets the back of his head and did notice some skin breakdown the one time we forgot to use this. We also use the Cavilon barrier spray and gentle adhesive remover. I did a lot of research on ear deformities and treatments, however your website did not appear in my searches until I specifically typed "tape for prominent ears”.
